Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is one of the most frequently performed procedures in plastic surgery. It is usually carried out for cosmetic reasons, with the aim of changing the size and shape of the nose, or refining certain features so that its final appearance matches the patient’s wishes. However, this technique can also achieve an improvement in breathing capacity, by correcting a deviated nasal septum and improving airflow through the nostrils. It is also frequently performed on patients who have suffered nasal trauma resulting in deformity.

Rhinoplasty can correct or improve various aspects of the shape of the nose: reducing the nasal dorsum or hump, lifting or refining the tip, narrowing the body of the nose, shortening it, narrowing the nostrils, correcting a deviated septum…

During the preoperative assessment, a thorough analysis of the anatomical details of the nose is carried out, and the goals to be achieved with the procedure and the patient’s expectations are reviewed together. In this way, we apply a technique tailored to each patient.
